What changes? Even in demo-project you have to configure domains part of site configuration to resolve site properly. Otherwise site is resolved to default which is not what you want.
You should post here the exact url you are trying to access, the mappings and domains parts of site configuration ... and name of the site root node in the website workspace. Without all those details anything anyone can tell you is just wild guess.
