Hi Steve, If you configure the WTP stuff in Eclipse and run your projects from there (ie start tomcat in Debug mode in eclipse) you can get hot code replace working.
I would not expect too much - with a project the size of magnolia my experience is that hot code replace does not really work well. I was looking at the Blossom documentation and came across this tip "You can easily change your dialog code in your IDE, compile and hot swap the new code into an instance of Magnolia CMS running in debug mode. This makes developing dialogs extremely fast." I haven't found anything in the documentation that states how to start Magnolia in debug mode. How can I do this so I can hot swap my module that contains all my components and dialogs? My setup is Magnolia 4.5.1 running on Tomcat 7 on a Windows machine. Currently I simply start Tomcat with the normal startup.bat file. Many thanks for your help. -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=ad313247-bfab-443f-bd87-b0a6e4cfcb13 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
