Thanks for the quick reply.  I might give that a try and hope for the best.

The project that I have landed in compiles a bunch of modules and bundles the 
modules .jars into a .war containing Magnolia (it doesn't build magnolia, just 
the modules and bundles it up).  This is then redeployed to Tomcat and 
restarted.  I am finding that even with this it is occasionally taking two 
clean installs for the changes to appear in Magnolia AdminCentral.

This seems fairly slow especially if you make a small change. I am not sure 
this is the ideal way to build and deploy modules so I am attempting to find a 
better method of local development to speed things up a little.
