thanks for answering, unfortunately that doesn't help, we tried it
out and still see aborted connections. Also I guess there would
have been exceptions if the process was running out of file
descriptors. Since there are no exceptions being thrown, I'd think
this likely to be a low level problem in the implementation of
network libraries.

Specially if you are using Derby as a DB. Default (you can check
that with "ulimit -n" or "ulimit -a" is 256 which might be too low
if you are running 2 instances in same Tomcat.

Tomcat 7.0.33 running Magnolia 4.4.9.

Problems with Java 7 on Mac OS X?
Hi,
since there are some Magnolians developing on Mac
OS X, I wonder whether anyone has run into the
same problem as two colleagues of mine do.
When running Magnolia in Tomcat using Java 7u13,
out every couple (hundreds) of requests some
requests from the browser fail/abort without
further error message on the server. When
repeatedly reloading the Admincentral page, most
of the reloads are OK, but then all of a sudden
requests for resources (.css, .js or image) get
aborted by the server.
We tried with different browsers, and on two
different Mac machines (both server and browser),
but the problem is always reproducible.
Has anybody else per chance experienced this
problem? I googled a lot for it, but to my
surprise wasn't able to find anything.
