Hm, do you get any errors when you try to output the date?
Since date is a Calendar object in Magnolia, I don't think you can output it
directly to a String. In freemarker, you could use freemarkers built-ins for
date:
${news.date?date?iso("CET")!}
Do not know how to do it in jsp though.
