hi, it's my fault .
I don't use fmt to format date .
[b]${news.date}[/b] would show nothing and no error invoked from console
it runs well when i use :
fmt:formatDate value="${content.date.time}" var="parsedDate" pattern="EEEE, d.
MMMM yyyy" />
<c:out value="${parsedDate}" />
