Hallo I'm making first steps with Magnolia CMS community edition. I've downloaded the Tomcat bundle which worked quite well.
After the first experiments I wanted to run it on a server (Ubuntu Server 13.04, Sun Java 1.7, MySQL 5.5). I followed this guide http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/WIKI/Setting+up+a+Jackrabbit+persistence+manager to configure the persistence manager. Magnolia starts up and I was able to run the "Run the Web update on the author instance" (MySQL shows some created tables). After that I wanted to run the "Run the Web update on the public instance". This worked with the derby database but fails with MySQL: [code]Magnolia installation ... Installation in progress ... 3 tasks have been executed, for a total of 327 tasks. Or did I mess up some configuration? Any hint would be welcome :) Thanks a lot! -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=5daa30d6-da92-4368-b7ff-860ad1cae39f ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
