So I will admit right away to being a Magnolia newbie, though I have Java & CMS experience. I am investigating whether Magnolia would be good fit for a client project that will convert a medium-sized site (~250 pages) that is currently using no CMS to using a CMS. The site uses a couple of dozen:
- Grails apps (using SiteMesh for templates) - Struts apps (using Tiles for templates) - a few JSPs After working through Magnolia Academy (an excellent resource, btw), I am thinking Magnolia might be a good fit, but am wondering how well Magnolia can be made to integrate with the Grails & Struts apps, and how well it can handle the SiteMesh & Tiles templates. The main question I have is, what level of integration with these is available in Magnolia? And how to achieve this integration? Also, I would like to know if the solutions for this are available in CE, or only in EE, since the client may start off in CE, with the possibility of moving to EE later.
