Are you using Plesk at all for any other sites? If so, you just broke them by setting up that iptables rule. If not, I'd start with a clean OS install and not use Plesk at all.

I have sucessfully setup the iptables update which directs all port 80 traffic to port 8080 and works a treat. I just need to do one more thing. When the main domain where magnolia is installed is called it brings up the default page where you have links to access admin or published site etc.... Obviously this is the default page within the ROOT directory within webapps. What is the best way to make the magnoliaPublic website the default site which loads up when the root domain is called. What I need to know is do I have to setup a mod_rewrite (.htaccess) within the ROOT folder which directs all traffic to www.domain.com/magnoliaPublic or is there a way of doing this withing the magnolia backend? -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=d2f04346-8fbf-442b-995d-66201ffcf04a ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
