Hi Aleksandar, Maybe you've headed a little in the wrong direction? If what you are doing is template and theme development (freemarker, CSS, HTML) then I don't think you need to bother with IntelliJ, Maven or the whole Java tooling.
You can do all your template development right in magnolia, without ever having to compile or deploy anything. I would recommend you try the following: - download a magnolia bundle release - you can start magnolia with the included tomcat server in the bundle, just by double-clicking startup.bat - log in by pointing your browser at http://localhost:8080/ Then check out the magnolia documentation on the following: - STK and defining templates, areas and components - freemarker for writing template scripts - the "inline templating" module for storing the templates right in magnolia - themes and imaging module for your CSS, images and image variations There is also the magnolia academy (online videos to get you started). Also consider asking your employer to send you to a magnolia training, or get an experienced magnolia consultant to come to you for 1-2 days and get you started. You will save a lot of research and your startup-time for working with magnolia will be greatly reduced.
