 source code[/url] I'd say it's not an exception while trying to write 
something but already when reading (session.getNodeById(conflictingId)). Most 
likely this is indeed a permission issue. Should be straight forward to find 
the conflicting node, get his path and check the permission for it.

Bootstrapping during startup happens in SystemContext (see 
ModuleManagerImpl#performInstallOrUpdate()) that's why normally you don't get 
any permission related problems.
