Yes it's the 5.3 CE. I followed both the Maven Archetype for developers and the 'Ready to run bundle'. I am on a Windows 7 machine! They both produce the same error! It occurs after It has completed installation, whether I run it with an embedded Tomcat i.e. mvn tomca:run-war, deploy war file to tomcat or just run the then startup.bat for the tomcat bundle. If I change the version of Magnolia in the pom to an earlier version e.g 5.2.2 it works. So I don't think it's my development environment setup.
