I ran into a problem while following the dev environment setup instructions at https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS/Development+environment
I installed Oracle Java 6 and Maven 2.2.1, init Maven according to https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS/Maven+init, and created a project archetype according to http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/WIKI/Module+QuickStart. So far so good. But when I tried to so a 'mvn clean install' I got the following: [INFO] Scanning for projects... Downloading: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/info/magnolia/magnolia-project/5.2/ma gnolia-project-5.2.pom [INFO] Unable to find resource 'info.magnolia:magnolia-project:pom:5.2' in repos itory central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2) [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [ERROR] FATAL ERROR [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] Error building POM (may not be this project's POM). Project ID: info.magnolia:magnolia-project Reason: POM 'info.magnolia:magnolia-project' not found in repository: Unable to download the artifact from any repository info.magnolia:magnolia-project:pom:5.2 from the specified remote repositories: central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2) for project info.magnolia:magnolia-project Obviously magnolia-project is not in repo1.maven.org but in nexus.magnolia-cms.com. Why is maven trying to get it from repo1.maven.org?
