Hi Kian, Sounds like your Tomcat is running but the Magnolia webapp cannot be found at the link you are clicking. The start page that contains the "Run the web update" links is just a static HTML file in <CATALINA_HOME>/webapps/ROOT/index.html. The links point to webapp directories named magnoliaAuthor and magnoliaPublic by default in the bundle.
Compare the directories on your disk to the tree shown in in https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS/Installing+Magnolia How are your directories name? Does the tree match the directories on your disk?
