Hi,

I posted earlier with some general questions about setting up Magnolia to
handle multiple sites using the same templates but with different languages.
After reading through the various online documents I have some more specific
questions that I am hoping the more experienced Magnolia users / JSP coders
can answer.

I have set up separate location folders for each site (i.e. website/en/,
website/de/, etc.) because each site will have a different structure but will
use the same templates.

Questions:

1) How do I make a template pull a different image or include different text
based on the root website folder? (I envision something like, if rootFolder
== 'de' then use german.properties) Is this correct or does it work
differently?

2) Is it possible to have a different site structure for the public instance
compared to the author instance? I see that a public instance can subscribe
to a certain branch of the author instance, but I would like to drop the site
folder. This means that the German public instance would subscribe to all
pages in websites/de/ but would not contain the /de/ root folder.

If anyone with experience setting up a similar site structure can share their
experience, I would greatly appreciate it.
