Hi Alex/Anyone,
It doesn't seem to matter what the connector port is, whether it is 80 or
8081 in the connector file (server.xml) file it always connects to 8081, is
there a config file that defines what port on how Mongolia connects to
tomcat?
I use Mongolia 2.1 and SDK 5.0

Matt you have to do 2 different things:
1/ internally configure Magnolia authoring/public to work on port 80 for activation mechanism. For
this you must:
- start default installation of magnolia
- log as admin into magnoliaAuthor
- update information on /Config/subscribers/SubscriberConfig/001/ properties:
address and senderURL
2/ modify Tomcat server.xml to use the port you want.
Following this 2 steps will assure Magnolia is correctly working on the port
you want.

look for Connector port tag in CATALINA_HOME/conf/server.xml. Also don't
forget to change subscriber settings if needed (see
AdminCentral/config/sibscriber).
