The name "Dialog" is older than Magnolia :-). "Dialog" has been first
used with the CMS suite "Communiqué" by Day Software. Communiqué is
based on the pre-version of today's JSR 170 standard repository. And
since Magnolia is based on the same type of repository, it was (IMHO) a
good idea to keep certain "terms" (like "Dialog") same.
In fact, these developers who are familiar with "Communiqué" can easily
adapt to Magnolia too, since many terms and concepts are similar or even
the same.
IMHO I would not bother about the term "Dialog". Changing the naming
would confuse many of the thousands of developers already using Magnolia
since the early days. At this stage it would help to make Magnolia easier.
