I have the necessity to create a photographic archive.

No, I don't have already tried magnoliaQt,
but he seems to me that magnoliaQT possesses many characteristics
(editing, management of quick Time files and audio)
of which at the moment i don't have need,
You have the possibility to edit the Files (Image, Video and Sound) but
you don't have to.
You can only use it for Uploading the Images in several Folders for a
better organization.
Then you can easy create some paragraph which show this images.
I did already a photogallery with magnoliaQT, I will put it as example
in the next Release.
But it's really easy to make your own scripts using the functions which
magnoliaQT offers.
So you can create really cool stuff.
