Training costs $ 2850.
I understand that training certainly costs something. I was rather
refering to "paying for contribution" resp.
if one does need to become a partner in order to be able to contribute?
No, there is no such requirement.
so, how do I become committer of Magnolia? Is there a similar process as
is the case of for instance an Apache projects with voting, etc.?
(use, contribute, commit, ...)
Michi
... and indeed the process of becoming a committer is exactly the same as for any oss project. Now
you should ask yourself what is the main reason why you want to become a committer ;-). Cause you
really don't need this to be able to write some modules. If you company is gonna go Magnolia way and
allow you to work on Magnolia and you see this as a contribution back to the product bringing money
to your company than this is cool. But in this case, maybe it is better for your company to consider
becoming a Magnolia partner.
