You should be able to turn of the cache for specific URLs. If I recall correctly this is documented on the WIKI.

In the same vein, since some of our pages are pretty dynamic in nature

dynamic content? Also, does anyone know how to set up cache expiration?

Thanx,

Several of us have had the same problem. The issue is that
Magnolia RC2 does not delete the cache on the public instance
when you activate content. If you delete everything from your
cache directory on the public instance and then activate, you
should see the newly activated content. Unfortunately, there
have been several complaints about this and zero answers from
anyone at Magnolia. hint, hint....

Subject: [magnolia-user] activation in rc2

Hello Magnolians

Today I noticed that I cannot activate my content in my
test-installation. I have downloaded the WARs about one or
two weeks ago files. The problem in experience is with a
fresh installation (just dropped the war files in tomcat,
waited, restarted, waited and accessed
magnolia)

The Message appears correctly in the inbox, however when I
accept it, the content is not refreshed in the public
instance. The log files seem to be empty, no errors.

Does anyone experience the same with RC2? Was there a Bugfix
recently for this or will there be.

Regards

Claudio
