Dear all,

I have some questions about memory usage improvment. We are hosting 2
magnolia-CMS-Web-Pages in one tomcat session. In fact, these are 4 (2 public
and 2 author) web applications. It is recommended that Tomcat has at least 256
megabyte memory available for the bootstrapping process.
My question is: 256 MB for each application?

The tomcat wiki page recommends:
If you are loading many web applications which which have the same jars in
their WEB-INF/lib then consider moving the shared jars from WEB-INF/lib into
the tomcat shared directory ${catalina.home}/shared/lib This will reduce the
memory used by each web app, reduce the size of your your war files, and
increase start up time.

Is this also recommended for magnolia CMS when several magnolia webapps are
deployed in one tomcat?
Which are the top jar-candidates in the magnolia/WEB-INF/lib-directory for
this?

Thanks for any advice!
Franz
