Hello list,

I've been testing 3.0 Final for deployment and I encountered an issue that I can reproduce with the SourceForge bundle version, as well as Wars only version (fresh download from today). On Magnolia's default samples templates or on my owns. With Derby or MySQL as a persistant repository. I'd like anyone with time to confirm the behavior if possible, and maybe identify if this is a bug or a glitch on my side.

The issue is as follow :
- Take a couple of fresh Author/Public instances
- Delete /repositories/magnolia
- Launch tomcat, which bootstraps your instances
- Create a multiline, multi coloumn (but nothing fancy needed) table paragraph on Author side.
- Activate on Public

On my setup, the Public instance's table is a mess, as it looks like tabs and carriage returns are not preserved (therefore having one single <th></th> html output with all table content inline in it, no other <tr> or <td>).

Default Derby configuration works fine out of the box, though. I guess something goes wrong in the bootstraping process, but i'm really not knowledgeable enough to understand what.
My current box is a WinXP SP2 / Sun JDK 1.5.0_09

Thanks for any help,
Guillaume.
