Hi Cristina,

This works for me, at least on mac osx. Could you maybe give more details, i.e there are probably exceptions happening before that one, or this one has a parent exception ("caused by") ... ? You seem to be using java 1.4, so I take it you installed the tomcat compatibility package ?

Cheers,

greg

Hello,

I've dropped the two Magnolia WARs on the webapps folder but all I'm
getting right now is the login page. After the default user-password
is entered an error page from Tomcat follows. It just says the
magnoliaAuthor app is not available.

I've found out many errors like this in the Tomcat log, one for each module:

ERROR info.magnolia.cms.beans.config.ModuleRegistration
ModuleRegistration.java(registerModule:382) 10.12.2006 22:09:43 can't
register module [adminInterface] due to a
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException exception:

        at info.magnolia.cms.util.ClassUtil.newInstance(ClassUtil.java:65)
        at [...]

It looks like Magnolia classes are not there, but they seem to be
packaged in JAR files under the WEB-INF/lib folder... Would anyone
please tell me what's wrong here?

  Which version of Magnolia 3.0.1
  Your operating system XP Pro
  Memory size 1 GB
Amount of memory allocated to java 512 KB

Thanks so much,

Cristina
