Hi Greg,
thanks so much for your reply. I've just found out what's wrong...
Problem is, Tomcat 5.5 had been installed on my PC under the
"C:\Tomcat 5.5" folder. As you see, the folder name has a space
between "Tomcat" and "5.5". Because of that, Magnolia components just
weren't found at runtime.
Oh gosh, not again !? Could you please send your full log file of
when that happened ?
Here, ideally: http://jira.magnolia.info/browse/MAGNOLIA-1075 along
with your config details.
Thanks !

Attention, Windows users: the Tomcat 5.5 Windows installer is
wonderfully easy to use, but it will offer, as the default
installation folder, the "Program Files" folder and, under that, the
"Tomcat 5.5" folder. Magnolia (and probably other web apps) will fail
to run under such an installation. So if you want to definitely avoid
this kind of problem, install (or reinstall) Tomcat under a folder
with *NO* spaces in its path name.
Regards,
Cristina
PS. I'm using Java 1.5.0_09.

Hi Cristina,
This works for me, at least on mac osx. Could you maybe give more
details, i.e there are probably exceptions happening before that one,
or this one has a parent exception ("caused by") ... ? You seem to be
using java 1.4, so I take it you installed the tomcat compatibility
package ?
Cheers,
greg
