Hi folks,

I have had my magnolia running successfully for almost 2 years (version 2.1).

Stupidly I corrupted one node. Accidently tomcat was started as root and I modified some node. When I saw that the process was running as root, I restarted tomcat with the apropriate user. When I further modified the same node, it was only partly published, or some of the contents in the repository was not deleted properly. However, now the node is broken, and I cannot get rid of it.

I tried, deactivating + deleting from the authoring instnance. No success, now the node is even dissapeared in the authoring instance but still in the public instance.

Then I tried deleting the node directly on the public instance. Also no success, I get some javax.jcr.ItemNotFoundException that something is missing.

So now I do not know how to get rid of the sucker. Has anyone had a similar problem? Is it possible to delete the node manually in the repository?

Help or good ideas are highly appreciated.

Cheers, Christoph
