Hi We use magnolia as cms system. Now one of our customers wants to have a forum implemented. In the forum, any user should be able to post. Are there existing magnolia applications that have already implemented this? I believe magnolia was not made for content that any user can update.
What might pose some difficulties is the following: - The posts would only be available on the public instance as they are posted there - How can the author delete unwanted posts, as the are only available on the public website - How to best save posts Right now I tend to have a separate database for the posts. That database could then be accessed from a custom template from the author and the public instances. However, this would not be very elegant as this is kind of not using magnolia and its functionality. Are there any better ways?
