Hi Geeks
After using Magnolia CE for quite some time I checked out 3.0.2 and it
seems worth the time to upgrade. Unfortunately I could not find any
documentation on how to do it. So I was wondering if someone could give
me some hints on how to do it. My questions are:
- Can I use the activation to move the web site content, the templates,
dialog and config data to the new Magnolia?
- I assume that I need to rewrite the JSP templates?
- Anything else I have to consider?
- What is the speed if I put the repository into a DB like PostgreSQL?
I am amazed about the speed of the administration page especially moving
around the template, dialog and config data. Back in 2.1 it was dog slow
but now it is really usable and I can imagine to write more templates.
