Have they been uploaded with the same client? Only thing I could think of was different character set encodings for the filename data... Far-fetched, I know.

I've got a bunch of MP3 files in the DMS of a Mag 3.02 installation. They're all of the type mp3, their file names end with .mp3 and they are even created with the same software. Strange enough some of the are played directly in the webbrowser and some are downloaded to the users harddisk (Tests were run with Firefox).
