I've not had issues with Windows 7 pro 64bit, so if not already tested, make
a complete uninstall, delete directories and install again.

Good luck

Might get rid of Win7 and reinstall XP.

Thanks Jason ... I recall posts some time back concerning the ATI Radeon
.... maybe there's a way I can close down the thing while I'm using RS. I'll
check it out further.

Hi,

Sounds video driver related. Try rendering in GDI mode instead of OpenGL
too.

Hi guys,

Can't raytrace in the viewport. Crashes the app. Any ideas?

Win7. Tried 7.00.41 and 7.00.45. No luck.

OpenGL is fine. Any file seems to trigger the crash. New or imported.

The raytrace works no problem at all in XP.

This machine is a Lenovo ThinkCentre. I suspect wrong video drivers. I'm
going to test this next.

TIA
