Hi Neil,

I am trying to remember a similar problem I had a while back.

I think changing different memory modes in the render settings solved the
render view issue I was having. Try all memory modes and also try GDI view
mode instead of OpenGL to see if that fixes problem.

Hope that helps.

Kind regards,

Jason

Subject: [User-list] Crashes RS-Ver7

Hi folks

I have just got a Dell E6400 and have loaded Win7 Pro 32 bit.

Whenever I attempt raytrace either whole viewport or selected rectangle -
the machine crashes. I suspect an incompatibility between RS and whatever
video card the Dell has.

>From memory a similar issue happened with a Lenovo I have and I went back to
XP. There might have been driver issues on that one though, can't quite
recall.

Any fixes? Ideas?

I can work around it since it renders without crashing and a spot camera and
quick low res render seems easy enough and often faster.

TIA

Neil
