Thanks Chris and Mauro fort he feedback. My own glasses do not reflect at all.
They were the model for this image.

The glass in the glasses were modelled and have thickness. When you look
closely you see the glass also affects the sharpness of the tekst on the pen.

I could increase the breaking index a little to enhance the effect. Let’s see
how that turns out.

Regards,

Robert

Looking good, Robert.

I like the reflection on the first image, but the indez of refraction seems to
be more right on the second one. Perhaps playing with curves a bit to increase
the reflection on the second one. Is there any 'lens' shape to the glass to
increase the refraction?

Hi all,

In my attempts to render a scene of a pen and glasses I used two types of the
glass material.

The first image is a clip of an image done using the standard glass material.

The other one is the same scene, but then with modified glass (Thanks Vesa).

The modified glass has a curve which allows control over reflection and
transparency.

Which looks better?

Robert
