Hello,
I have a question on skas-update-2.6.10.patch at
http://www.user-mode-linux.org/~blaisorblade/patches/skas3-2.6/skas-update-2.6.10.patch
against a 2.6.10 kernel.
Can the patch be applied against the vanilla kernel at www.kernel.org or I've to apply first some other patch? I think the former, but I'd like to get it confirmed.
In that case, I've see that skas-update-2.6.10.patch is very short compared with other 2.6 skas patches. Does it mean that the much of the SKAS support is from 2.6.10 included in the vanilla kernel?
Thank you in adavance!
No, the skas-update-2.6.10 patch is added after the host-skas-2.6.9-v7.patch to allow the host kernel to compile under 2.6.10. There is one reject when applying the 2.6.9 skas patch to 2.6.10, but other than that, it's fairly straightforward. I've done a native host-skas3-2.6.10-v7 patch which you can download at http://uml.tuxrocks.com/Patches/host-skas3-2.6.10-v7.patch
