Subject: [uml-user] Segfaulting applications inside UML
Hi,
I seem to have a problem were certain kinds of applications segfault when
trying to run or use them.
I'm using Debian Sarge. The guest kernel I'm using is version
2.6.15.6-bs2. I also had the problem with a plain 2.6.15.1 kernel.
My host is Slackware 10.1 with kernel version 2.4.26.
The applications that are segfaulting for me are sshd and BIND. For sshd,
I was able to fix (or work-around?) the problem by setting
PasswordAuthentication yes and UsePAM no in my /etc/ssh/sshd_config.
For BIND, I just get:
# named -fg
Mar 09 23:47:59.141 starting BIND 9.2.4 -fg
Mar 09 23:47:59.146 using 1 CPU
Segmentation fault
Any idea what is wrong or what I'm doing wrong? Are there any logs or
other files I could check
Thanks a lot in advance,
Julius
