You should continue using the "move /lib/tls away" solution, but on some distro (like Fedora Core 4 and beyond) it won't work. If you need them, upgrade your host kernel to 2.6.

Ah, no problem. I'm just happy to know what is going on :)
I'll probably only be using Debian in my UMLs for now. If I ever come across problems again, I'll just update my host kernel.
