I've read the UML home page and I've browsed all the information at
blaisorblade's web page, but I'm still lost... I'm using the 2.6.16 kernel and
I'd like to compile the guest UML kernel. The vanilla version of this kernel
won't work, so I read that I need to apply 'jmpbuf' patch and try again. This
allows me to compile, but do I also need to apply all the patches for 2.6.16?
If so, which one?

For example:

http://www.user-mode-linux.org/~blaisorblade/patches/guest/ shows two options,
uml-2.6.16-bb1 & uml-2.6.16-bs2

this location, http://user-mode-linux.sourceforge.net/work/current/2.6/ has
versions 2.6.16, 2.6.16-rc1 through rc5

Should I not worry about these additional patches?

somebody please point me in the right direction.

thanks
Kirk
