I just package bugfixes discovered after the kernel release.
kernel.org distributes kernels like 2.6.19.5, 2.6.20.1 - those trees are called 'the stable trees', and include just bugfixes from kernel maintainers. The patch I'd suggest is: http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/patch-2.6.19.5.bz2 > I can't find your "latest stable patch". > Is it "23 November 2006: SKAS3/2.6-V9-pre9 updated for 2.6.19-rc6" > from here: http://www.user-mode-linux.org/~blaisorblade/news.html ?? SKAS patch is for host kernels (i.e. the one running on 'hardware'), not for guest (i.e. UML) ones. -- Inform me of my mistakes, so I can add them to my list!
