Hi Sanjeev,

Can you provide more details into what you're trying to accomplish?
HDP 2.5 has Falcon at version 0.10.

If you want your build Falcon from source, you will have to build the RPMs and
create a repo. If you go through that route, it will take a lot of work to come
up with your own stack.
There's another feature called Management Packs, and the eventual goal is to be
able to pull in say common services from stack A, and then extend it with your
custom services from a different repo, but we're not there yet.

Thanks,
Alejandro

Hi Sanjeev,

Ambari works with existing stacks that distribute a version of Falcon.
Which stack are you using?
Are you writing your own? If so, you will need to create RPMs for the version
of Falcon that you want.

E.g., HDP 2.5 includes Falcon version 0.10

Thanks,
Alejandro
