Woa! Brian this is awesome. Particularly the .NET Standard part. That was one I
knew would come up soon. So happy to see it’s been addressed. Is this something
we can get back into the main Avro project?

I may be able to get some ‘softies to help us. I really would like to avoid
having a forked repo if I could. I have a diverse customer base for my products
and I want them to be able to use any platform / language.

Kind Regards,
-Dan

Subject: Re: NuGet packages for Avro

Hi Dan,

As far as I know, there is no official Avro NuGet package. I have made some
recent NuGet package releases under the blachniet.Avro package
ID<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nuget.org%2Fpackages%2Fblachniet.Avro%2F&data=02%7C01%7Cdarosa%40microsoft.com%7C629e9fd97cd34694642908d5e37b19ae%7C72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7C1%7C0%7C636665040214784117&sdata=HIF72rhkv0WuLahXzLKOLbmSawe1zxr94%2FdaUcOFIjY%3D&reserved=0>.
These packages are generated from my fork of the Avro project
(https://github.com/blachniet/avro<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fblachniet%2Favro&data=02%7C01%7Cdarosa%40microsoft.com%7C629e9fd97cd34694642908d5e37b19ae%7C72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7C1%7C0%7C636665040214940370&sdata=uSo6acy0mFJFBDhe5RYQHlJYNiJnygVGU9VzqBs897A%3D&reserved=0>)
which includes some C# improvements including support for .NET Standard. You
can see some of the other changes/fixes that I've implemented in the release

Hello Avro community,
I’m trying to figure out how best to get people the latest and greatest Avro
libraries. For .NET the library works great, but doesn’t appear to be up to
date on NuGet

Am I looking in the wrong place? Does the build publish a NuGet package
automatically?
