I understand I need to include xerces or include my own replacement classes when I need pretty-printing. But the howto seems to indicate that I also need to include my own replacement OutputFormat and Serializer and SerializerFactory when I want to avoid using Xerces. Or are there default implementations that I can use when I don't need pretty-printing? Steven J.
