Hi there,

I've been using Castor for some time and currently need to marshall a nested bunch of legacy Java classes into XML and I'd like to avoid writing a whole lot of glue code or adding set-methods to the legacy classes -- all data behind the getters gets aggregated from a DBMS, so setters would be really pointless.

I found a bug at http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CASTOR-702 about this very topic but it seems rather forgotten. Is someone working on it?

Are there any workarounds so I don't have to provide setters for every property I'd like to marshall?

Regards,
Philipp Reichart
