We are looking forward to any contributions from your side, as minimal they 
might be. And I am not even sure whether I should be using the word 'minimal' 
in this context.

Wrt to the usage of Hibernate (proxies) with Castor XML, yes, I have seen quite 
a few folks more or less asking the same question as you. An given the number 
of votes for this issue, I am sure there will be some users who will benefit 
from your contribution.
