As already mentioned by Ralf, we have made available a first snapshot
release of 1.2 a few days ago, and these releases are usually made
available at the Snapshot repository of the Codehaus, to which Ralf has
posted the URL.

P.S. Having said that, did you manage to download the 1.2-snapshot and
re-try things with regards to your assumed issue ?
