I have now created issue http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CASTOR-2271 and provided
1. a simple schema; 2. a simple XML structure that validates well; 3. the script using the castor code generator; 4. the created classes; 5. my test class; 6. the exception thrown by castor. Sorry if I haven't provided the information es expected by convention, but this is my first Jira issue.
