Using JDO ORM, database field type varchar(500) mapped
to string type :
Sybase now allows varchar much larger than 250.
Has anyone found that reading longer than 250
varchars with string causes truncation at 250 chars?
The update works fine however.
Should it be necessary to use text fields with
JDO(which are not efficient) even though db allows
bigger varchars?
