Hi, I ran into this problem too. And fortunately, i have fixed this problem by packaging all the generated schema files (say, schema.jar) separately from the web service classes. When I marshalled them to XML, everything worked fine until I built a web service out of one of my classes. Now the marshall goes through without error, but the resultant XML string is "" (empty string), even when running a class as a straight forward java app. Figured something was up with the classpath but can't seem to find any difference between what was working and what is not.
