Thanks. Problem is, can you please elaborate on the solution you are
mentioning below ? In what sense does packaging the generated class
files (hopefully incl. descriptor classes) solve the issue ?

Hi, I ran into this problem too. And fortunately, i have fixed this
problem by packaging all the generated schema files (say, schema.jar)
separately from the web service classes. Hope this helps:)
Good luck:)
In Response To:
Hello,
I'm using Castor 1.2 with Eclipse 3.1.1 (compiling in java 1.5)
I have a simple XSD which I built castor java objects out of. When
I marshalled them to XML, everything worked fine until I built a web
service out of one of my classes.
Now the marshall goes through without error, but the resultant XML
string is "" (empty string), even when running a class as a straight
forward java app.
Figured something was up with the classpath but can't seem to find
any difference between what was working and what is not.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------
