Whilst the answer is simple, it might carry some potential to frustrate
you. Anyhow, here's the answer: don't use Ant, use Maven. With Maven, a
simple
mvn clean install
Oh no frustration here. If it builds with maven, I'll use maven (just
installing), no problem!
You though should
- remove dead code / support files (build.xml, build.bat et al)
- update your documentation and release notes.
