Now it seems I've replaced one problem with another.
I _was_ using some Yuotube videos about how to install Eclipse for Java--turns
out they are 4 years old!
When I open maven I see the files that are supposed to be seen in Eclipse--but
where do I put them on my harddrive?
For example, in my Java file folder I have a folder named jre1.8.0_66--I have
no idea where that name came from.
Inside that folder there's two file folders named bin and lib.
Someone, (hint, hint) needs to "idiot-proof the system"--I'll check.

The binary and sources can be downloaded from the usual place, i.e
http://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-lang/download_lang.cgi
The Central Maven repo has the sources in the usual place:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/commons/commons-lang3/3.4/
Note that the source is in a separate jar from the binaries, as per usual.
