Yeah, we mostly just replicate our databases from our local LAN server to a server in a data center (for geographic redundancy). We use continuous replication for this in several places, too. In fact, we'll probably do it all using continuous replication as soon as we get 1.1 set up (which has the _replicator database, to keep continuous replication going in the face of trouble).
