Hernan mentioned this is more upto date, and I haven't reviewed both links to really see where the gaps are. But it's definietly worth giving a try.
However please keep in mind the above documentation is still work in progress. Please let me know you your feedback on whats missing or what more we can do to improve the documentation.

If so then I recommend looking at the quick start documentation available at http://geronimo.apache.org/documentation.html . If you could walk through the steps in a quick start guide and describe what you see if/when you start having problems ( e.g. a stack trace in the command window or logs) then I think we can help out.
